Crossworks Massage Therapy
Crossworks massage is corrective work that borrows from numerous highly respected disciplines in bodywork.  Crosswork therapists draw from the legacy of great muscular, neural, and energy related therapies, which have developed over the millennia,.Other techniques that have come to fruition in recent decades, such as the use of far infrared bio-ceramic stones have come into use as our culture has taken a greater interest in health through fitness.

Claudia coined the name CROSSWORKS in an effort to give credit to the various creators of the legacy of body works existing today, as well as emphasize the creative nature of her work.  It demands not only understanding of the various techniques, but the ability to be present physically, intuitively and intellectually in each session in order to know which work to apply.

She has been a licensed massage therapist since 1981, and a practitioner of Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and other Chinese internal arts since1974. The techniques she has studied and been influenced by the most for the last 10 to 15 years are Neuromuscular Reeducation, Berry Work, Myofascial Release, Chi Kung, and some acupressure; also used are British sports massage, biokinetics, and far infrared stones. These techniques combined and used as needed, make extremely efficient and effective work.

Finally, other experiences and studies have influenced the creation of CROSSWORKS:  an MA at the University of Washington, 13 years of re-evaluation co-counseling; Healing Codes; networking with physical therapists, chiropractors, naturopaths, and other body workers; meditation; visual arts; spiritual practices; and her clients, friends, and family.
